The Pinery Country Club Completes Multi-Million-Dollar Transformation
Denver-area private club dramatically enhances member experience
DALLAS (April 3, 2025) — The Pinery Country Club, one of the Denver area’s most desirable private golf and lifestyle clubs, has completed a multi-million-dollar renovation. With a bold new re-imagining, the expansive clubhouse now showcases a dramatic openness throughout and delivers an environment where unforgettable memories with family and friends can occur.
The Pinery Country Club is owned by Arcis Golf, a premier operator of nearly 70 private, resort, and daily fee clubs in the United States. Throughout its portfolio, Arcis Golf has invested more than $125 million in the past four years on property upgrades, new amenities, personnel, training, and systems to create extraordinary lifestyle experiences and forge and foster relationships with members and guests.
The recent transformation at The Pinery Country Club — located in Parker, Colo., just 25 miles from downtown Denver— prioritizes connectivity of space and among members. Through the creation of an open clubhouse flow, members now enjoy an enhanced experience that fosters a warm, social club culture. The fireplace lounge flows to the bar, allowing members to gather spontaneously over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The dining rooms are furnished with custom banquette seating and trestle-style farm tables, offering unincumbered sunset views of the Mountain Course’s ninth hole.
“The Pinery is known as a thriving, family-centric club,” said Blake Walker, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Arcis Golf. “We wanted to provide each family member with additional opportunities to engage and connect with others. The airier, open clubhouse design accomplishes this by promoting greater interaction and providing additional spaces to relax and create new memories.”
New interiors lean into the clubhouse’s Craftsman architectural style by highlighting textures and colors from nature, like warm, rich oak and Alder, natural stonework, and a palette inspired by regional flora. Elements of the design celebrate the genre’s historical roots, incorporating patterned wallpapers and textiles by William Morris, whose designs heavily influenced the American Craftsman style, and utilizing woodworking motifs of the early twentieth century, as in the case of the foyer focal table, custom made by local craftsmen using classic mortise-and-tenon joinery.
The outdoor patio has been renovated as an extension of the main dining room, with seating for 100 guests. There’s more room throughout the clubhouse, including at the newly transformed Golfer’s Grill. Known by some as the “The Prohibition Room,” the space pays homage to Colorado’s “spirited” past, telling the story of how the bootleggers’ rebellion led to the repeal of Prohibition and developed an early foundation for the brewing culture the region is lauded for today.
The club’s private events room, located near the main bar and dining room, also received an upgrade with luxurious velvet draperies, boldly patterned wallpaper, and walnut and leather light fixtures.
The passion of The Pinery culinary team is evidenced by their commitment to partnering with local farms, regional ranches, artisanal bakeries, and craft distillers, as well as their use of sustainable seafood. The ever-changing lunch and dinner menus feature small plates, salads, health-conscious choices, flatbreads, sides, sandwiches, and entrees, highlighted by favorites such as Rocky Mountain Trout and Colorado Chicken. The drink menu offers local microbrews, of course, as well as specialty cocktails and distinctive wines. The bustling social activities calendar spotlights special culinary events such as Fiesta Tuesdays, Italian Night Wednesdays, Tuscan wine dinners, and regular family-focused activities.
The makeover of the Pro Shop has created a more stylish and functional space for golf enthusiasts, complete with an upgraded shopping experience and the introduction of new high-end brands.
Catering to the family-friendly nature of the club, a robust calendar of social events is offered for all age groups—from youth to grandparents. The recent additions of Trivia Night (for adults), Movie Night (for kids), Spa Days, and Kids Club activities have been well received.
The Pinery’s other amenities include 27 holes of championship golf, supported by an expansive golf practice facility and golf instruction programs for all levels and ages. Members also benefit from an award-winning tennis facility featuring six outdoor courts and three indoor courts, a fitness center, and a recently renovated aquatics center with three swimming pools.
Arcis Golf “Summit” members receive dual membership at The Pinery Country Club and its sister club, The Club at Pradera, located just three miles away. The Summit two-club program provides access to golf courses, clubhouses, restaurants, swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and fitness centers at both properties.
Both The Pinery and Pradera are prior honorees of the CAGGY Awards presented by Colorado AvidGolfer, which honors the state’s best golf courses, clubs, and instructors. The annual awards are based on online voting by more than 5,000 of the publication’s readers.
An industry leader in providing inventive programming and unrivaled lifestyle amenities that complement exceptional golf offerings, Arcis Golf has received numerous honors, including a National Golf Foundation “2025 Top 100 Businesses in Golf.”
