Forbidden Forest Experience Allows Guests to Immerse In A Night of Wizardry and Wonder
Leesburg, VA (October 10, 2024) –A world of enchantment awaits at Lansdowne Resort, as a one-of-a-kind Harry Potter Experience overnight package, in conjunction with Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience, allows guests to immerse themselves in a night of wizardry and wonder at their very own “Hogwarts Headquarters.” The Forbidden Forest Experience takes place in the awe-inspiring woods of Morven Park International Equestrian Center, less than 10 miles from Lansdowne Resort.
The Harry Potter Experience package, available October 26 through December 8, 2024, begins with enchanting overnight accommodations that serve as the gateway to adventure. Each morning of their stay, guests receive a $50 daily breakfast credit. The package also includes a whimsical Pick Your House Truffle Box, accompanied by two refreshing bottles of Saratoga Water. To top it all off, a personalized, wax-sealed welcome letter adds a touch of authentic Hogwarts charm.
The Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience transforms the woods into a captivating realm inspired by the iconic film series and the Fantastic Beasts franchise. Visitors will traverse a stunning woodland trail, crafted by award-winning theatrical designers who bring to life the magical creatures and spellbinding wonders that have captivated audiences around the globe. Participants will encounter fantastical beings, including a majestic Hippogriff and mischievous Nifflers, all while reliving some of the most memorable moments from the beloved films.
The Forbidden Forest Experience will run seven days a week from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., with the last entry at 9:45 p.m. Guests can expect to explore the trail for approximately 60 to 90 minutes, with the walking segment taking between 45 to 75 minutes. Children ages 2 and under can join the adventure free of charge.
