JUNIOR GOLFERS WANTED: SUMMER CAMPS OFFERED AT GOLFZON RANGE BY LEADBETTER IN WESTBURY

Westbury, N.Y. (June 13, 2024) – Junior golfers and aspiring junior golfers, ages 8-16, have great opportunities to learn and improve their game at Golfzon Range by Leadbetter in Westbury this summer.  Two different camps—each tailored to a different skill level—are available for enrollment.

The Junior Golfer Summer Camps at Golfzon Range by Leadbetter provide an opportunity like no other for students to receive professional coaching and instruction from a certified team of coaches trained by David Leadbetter, one of the world’s leading golf instructors.  The curriculum is designed to make significant, lasting improvements for junior golfers, all while focusing on fun by playing interactive games, learning new skills, and making friends.  Once juniors learn the game, they will be able to train and refine their skills at Golfzon Range and eventually, take their games to the golf course.

Parents can be assured of a safe, enclosed environment with adult supervision from highly trained coaches and since Golfzon Range is a climate-controlled, indoor facility, there are no inconvenient weather cancellations.

Learn to Golf Camp, for ages 8-16, is designed for new golfers and taught by Leadbetter Certified Instructors, with an 8-to-1 student-to-coach ratio. All golf equipment is provided. Sessions start on July 8 and run from Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, through August 9.  Each four-day session is priced at $350 per student.

For juniors, 8 to 16 years old, who already know the game, Competition Golf Camp is designed for game improvement.  These personalized sessions have a 8-to-1 student-to-coach ratio, with training held Monday through Friday (9:00 am to 12:00 pm) with virtual competitions each Friday, and runs from July 15 to August 16.  The five-day sessions are priced at $450 per student.

Simulators provide an excellent platform for children to learn to play golf. Data and visual feedback are instant and intuitive.  Essentially, children are playing giant video games but with a difference – they learn the golf swing so it’s a physical activity and healthier than being glued to a console.

The software in Golfzon simulators helps golfers get the most out of every practice session and focus on the technical aspects of the golf swing by providing performance data like ball flight, swing capture, posture adjustment and clubhead speed. The whole concept of the simulators and these summer camps is to make golf more fun and accessible to everyone.

For additional information and registration for summer camp, access the website at Westbury Summer Camps or call 516/388-6210.  The Westbury facility is located at 655 Merrick Ave, Westbury, NY 11590.
