Atlantic Dunes Course Is Site of Fun, Day-Long Event To Support Local Charities

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (Feb. 10, 2025) – The Sea Pines Resort Community Fund, whose mission is to support deserving charities and provide community investments in the Lowcountry and beyond, will hold its inaugural fundraising golf tournament at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 2.

The one-day scramble-format event will be hosted on the prestigious Atlantic Dunes course, renovated by Davis Love III and ranked among Golfweek’s Top 200 resort courses in the U.S. in back-to-back years.

The tournament will combine incredible golf with exceptional food and beverages. The competition will feature longest drive and closest-to-the-pin competitions, while a special welcome gift will be given to each player who registers. An awards ceremony will follow, along with an Oyster Roast and Pig Pickin’ celebration from 5 to 8 p.m.

The cost for a single golfer is $300; a foursome is $1,200. Tickets for the reception only are available for $49/person.

In 2024, through the generosity of The Sea Pines Resort, its ownership, guests, property owners, and employees, over $150,000 was raised, and $90,000+ in grants and donations were awarded by The Sea Pines Resort Community Fund to 20 local and regional organizations.
