‘The Club at Frisco Farms’ is Reimagined by Arcis Golf
Transformed Restaurant, Bar, and Game Room Are New Community Gathering Spot
DALLAS (April 16, 2025) — Arcis Golf announced Frisco, Texas-based Plantation Golf Club has been renamed The Club at Frisco Farms. The original club opened in 1988, making it the longest-running public golf course in Frisco, often ranked as one of the best cities to live in the United States.
Blake Walker, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Arcis Golf, the Dallas-based owner and operator of nearly 70 premier private, resort, and daily fee golf and country clubs, said that beyond the name change, the club underwent a multi-million-dollar makeover. With a lean to a nostalgic farmhouse aesthetic, the clubhouse has been completely renovated, including the restaurant and bar, game area, and more.
“Our goal is for The Club at Frisco Farms to become a community hub for golfers, non-golfers, family, friends, and diners,” Walker said. “Whether playing golf, socializing, or simply unwinding, this transformation of the club is Arcis Golf’s commitment to providing the finest lifestyle experiences and amenities in the communities we serve.”
The centerpiece of a master-planned community just 30 minutes from downtown Dallas, the club features a 6,402-yard, par-72 championship golf course, appealing to players of all skill levels. The course is open to the public for daily play, golf tournaments, league competitions, and private events. An expansive practice facility, complete with world-class instruction, complements the club’s golf offerings.
The clubhouse design borrows inspiration from the history of the neighborhood and its recent past as a farming community. White beadboard and natural pine paneling, botanical and checkered wallcoverings, and a collection of vintage décor give the space a distinct and playful personality, totally unique to this property.
The new design is impressive from the moment of arrival. An airy front entrance leads to a renovated retail shop that now features an area with an indoor putting green and an enhanced line of high-end putters. A large, curated collection of graphic t-shirts and custom headwear are prominently on display to bring local pride and personality to the space. There is also a dedicated kids’ corner with books, tents, games, and activities related to outdoor pursuits, such as golf and fishing. Unique lifestyle accessories and gifts appeal to a broad range of individuals and families.
Across from the retail shop is a re-imagined bar area and restaurant with reclaimed pendant lighting, vaulted ceilings, and vintage décor, including a large antique Texas flag proudly displayed over the dining area.
The community-centric game room now includes big-screen televisions, darts, shuffleboard, and billiards. The space is expected to be a popular spot for the golfers and the surrounding neighborhood residents and makes the perfect place for hosting special events, such as bachelor parties and fantasy sports league drafts. Soon to come are a golf simulator and Golden Tee arcade game.
“We are confident this new food-and-beverage space will become Frisco’s local watering hole—a place where the community can gather, enjoy a meal or beverage, shoot pool, play darts, and watch their favorite Dallas sports teams on TV,” said Dylan Walls, General Manager.
Arcis Golf also has created an all-new menu to complement the property’s Americana-inspired narrative, with selections from quick bites to deluxe burgers, handcrafted sandwiches, artisanal salads, and pizzas baked in the new conveyor oven. Special events, such as Pasta & Pizza, Bourbon & Wine Pairings, and Around the World Theme Nights, will be part of an evolving, family-focused and date night schedule.
Craft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails, including the Twilight Mojito, Classic Sazerac, Apple Mule, and Yellowstone Spritz, are among the popular libations. The restaurant strives to evoke a feeling of community, mirroring the neighborhood-centric vision Arcis Golf has set out for the entire club.
Arcis Golf owns and operates nine properties in the DFW Metroplex, including Cowboys Golf Club, Bear Creek Golf Club, Gentle Creek Country Club, Lantana Golf Club, and The Golf Club at Fossil Creek. The second largest owner and operator of golf facilities in the United States, Arcis Golf has invested more than $125 million in upgrades, amenities, personnel, training, and systems at its vast collection of clubs.
Moreover, with the Arcis Players’ Prime Membership, The Club at Frisco Farms members will enjoy subscriber benefits both at their home club and other area-wide Arcis Golf public courses.
