ATLANTA ATHLETIC CLUB EARNS PRESTIGIOUS CASHMAN AWARD
Honor for Golf Shop’s visual merchandising highlights its ‘relentless pursuit of excellence’
JOHN’S CREEK, Ga. (Feb. 20, 2025) — The Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) Golf Shop, under the leadership of Kristen Everard, is the 2025 Cashman Award winner, as presented by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM). Everard has been Director of Retail at AAC since May 2021.
Unveiled during the AGM’s recent 2025 Best of the Best Awards ceremony, the prestigious honor is named for Ardie and Kevin Cashman and was created more than a decade ago to recognize achievements and contributions to the golf retail industry, specifically in visual merchandising. According to the AGM, Atlanta Athletic Club earned the honor for “outstanding retail performance and dedication to enhancing the member and guest experience.”
The Cashmans, who earned multiple AGM awards and were inducted into the AGM Hall of Fame last year, believe a property’s golf shop “sets the stage for the entire club and staff.”
“This esteemed recognition highlights Atlanta Athletic Club’s relentless pursuit of excellence, encouraging others to raise the standard of visual merchandising in the golf industry,” the Cashmans said upon bestowing the award. “Congratulations to Atlanta Athletic Club for setting a shining example and exemplifying the very best in Golf Shop presentation.”
Everard accepted the award on behalf of AAC, which joins an esteemed list of clubs— stretching coast to coast—that are past recipients of his honor.
